Make a custom figurine from a photo
Upload a photo of yourself, a friend or your family, and Remeshy turns it into a figurine you can 3D print at home. See a free preview first, in the style you like.
Figurines made from a picture
Printed and shared by Remeshy users. The small picture in the corner of each is what its model was made from.

Pick a style
Choose one in the box above. After the preview, you can try the others with one tap.
Figurine
A stylised, animated-film look with smooth shapes. It’s the style most people choose, and it prints cleanly on any printer.
Chibi
A big head on a small body. Cute, sturdy and quick to print, even small.
Realistic
Stays closest to the photo. Print it in resin, or bigger on an FDM printer, so the face keeps its detail.
With a base
Adds a round display base, so it stands steady on a shelf or a desk.
Photos that make good figurines
- The whole person in the frame, head to feet, if you want the whole figure.
- The face clearly lit and visible, looking towards the camera.
- A simple standing or sitting pose. Arms close to the body print sturdier.
- A plain background, with nobody else in the picture.
- Plain clothes come out cleaner than busy patterns.
- For two people, a photo of them standing close together, touching.

Print and paint it
Size it
Around 10 cm tall keeps a face’s detail on an FDM printer. Resin printers can go smaller.
Print it
Use a fine layer height, around 0.12 mm, with supports under the arms and chin. Resin captures faces and hair best.
Paint it
The model prints in one colour. Prime it grey and paint it with acrylics, or leave it plain as a statue.
Questions people ask
Can I make a figurine of myself from a photo?
Yes. Upload a clear photo of yourself, pick a style, and Remeshy shows a free preview of your figurine. When you like it, create the model and download the STL to print.
Will it look like me?
Remeshy keeps your face and hairstyle recognisable in the style you pick. Realistic stays closest to the photo; Figurine and Chibi are stylised on purpose.
Can I make a figurine of two people?
Yes, from one photo of them together. Standing close and touching gives the sturdiest print, which also suits a cake topper.
Is it free?
Previews are free. Creating the model and downloading the STL needs a Remeshy subscription; on the website it starts with a 3-day free trial.
Can I use a photo of someone else?
Only if they’re happy for you to. Ask them first, and don’t make figurines of other people’s children.
Do I need a 3D printer?
To print it yourself, yes: any FDM or resin printer works. Without one, send the STL to a local or online print service.
