3D printing a stand, dock or case for iPhone Duo
iPhone Duo went on sale on 23 October 2026, so most stand and case files out there were made for other phones. Here are the measurements to check a file against, the settings that make a print last, and how to make one of your own.

Will a stand for my old iPhone fit?
Probably not. Closed, iPhone Duo is 11.3 mm thick, about 2.5 mm more than an iPhone 18 Pro Max, so slots made for ordinary iPhones are too narrow. It’s also much shorter and wider.
Stands that hold the phone against a back rest with a ledge at the bottom, and MagSafe stands, are the most likely to work. Anything with a snug slot needs a new design.
Fit tips
Slot width
Make it 11.3 mm plus 0.5–1 mm of clearance, or your case’s thickness plus the same.
Camera bump
Leave a 5 mm recess, or the phone will rock on a flat cradle.
Open on a stand
Open, the phone is 164.6 mm wide and only 5.2 mm thick. A front lip about 3 mm tall holds it without covering much of the screen.
Weight
At 254 g it’s heavier than any other iPhone, so give the stand a wide base, or a pocket for a few coins or nuts to weigh it down.
Cable
If you want to charge on the stand, leave a channel for the USB-C cable.
Hinge
Don’t clamp across the hinge. Cases for folding phones are usually two pieces, one for each half.

Lay stands on their side on the bed when you can, so the weight of the phone presses along the layers instead of pulling them apart.

Closed it’s 117.8 × 84.1 × 11.3 mm and open it’s 117.8 × 164.6 × 5.2 mm, with the camera bump adding about 4–5 mm. Allow 0.5–1 mm of clearance, more if you use a case.
Will an iPhone 18 stand fit iPhone Duo?
Usually not. Closed, iPhone Duo is about 2.5 mm thicker than an iPhone 18 Pro Max and a very different shape. Back-rest stands with a ledge, and MagSafe stands, have the best chance.
